This phase involves, amongst other things, lots of single attempts at the goal gripper. Whilst I'm not as close as I would like (and bear in mind, KTA is still 10 days from being over) one thing I have noticed is this: Before, if I wanted to attempt a max single, I'd need several days rest, and the first go was it subsequent attempts never came anywhere as near as the first; but now, all the attempts get to approximately the same point.
So while I may not gain as much MAX strength as I was hoping, I've definately gained strength in consistancy.

Got my 20Kg scale weight to full deadlift today, I'm just beginning to realise how important the placing of the thumb is, almost as important as it's strength. I think I'll watch David's pinch DVD again later.

Flat pack furniture is a hell of a pinch workout...especially after a KTA workout.

I'm supposed to be resting this week, after finishing KTA, however, I made myself some new bending pads after giving Fred my old ones, and decided to break them in by echoing Greg and Daves 100 red nail bending marathon...not that I did it with reds! I bent 50 white and 50 green nails in just under half an hour.

If I can ever rest long enough to heal up, I'll tell you! Fred (coombsfh) is coming for another grip sesh on thurs, and the shot's arrived, so we'll both be seeing what we can do on the blobette
Short term, it's def helped my grip endurance.

Good to hear about the increase in endurance, it's not all about strength!
Oh by the way, my son Jason, who lives in Manchester now is interested in coming to your grip comp.
