Day 4 done, that pain in my wrist is back so I'm going to start doing some pronation/supination exercises with dumbells.
Walked into Mcr to meet Chloe from work, so that's 20 mins there at a good brisk pace, 30 back strolling with her little legs trying to keep up!

Strap her to your back next time and you've got a weighted vest a la Steve Justa Re your other thread about the Titan's Telegraph: I think a trip to the hardware store would get you all the bits you need to design and make your own at a fraction of the cost. May not look pretty but your fingers will still be sending an SOS after a good workout

I'd thought of that, but I have the woodworking skills of a stunned duck!
Done day 5, didn't go for a walk, but stripped and re-grouted the bathroom, which has had me sweating like a pig (I've always wondered about that expression: pigs don't have any sweatglands, so they don't sweat at all) all day.

Phase II week 1 complete.
Forearms feel like Teak! day off is gonna feel real welcome!
little specific cardio, but 4 hours looking after my ADHD Godson (nearly 5!!!) took it all out of me, cos his Mum forgot to give him his meds until she picked him up this afternoon! PHEW!

Rest days are hard! Feel like I should be doing something. So I sealed the cr@p out of the new bath, no more watermarks on the lounge ceiling for me! Walked 40 minutes today, you get a lot of funny looks when you're a white male walking in Moss Side.
Took Jamie for a McDonalds as his treat yesterday. I've felt like $hit all day and...well...lets just say the toilet hates me. Does this mean McDonalds is, as I've often suspected, the Devil?

Phase II Week 2 Day one complete, also did 25 mins on a cross-trainer as cardio.
Been craving stuff like crisps and chocolate since the McDonalds. I never normally eat them (so I'm not starting now) but that can't be coincidence, can it?

The spud's not the problem, it's the requisite butter, soured cream and chives that goes with it! Ok, chives are allowed.
Did over an hours worth of brisk walking this morning, 30 mins of which I was carrying 7.5Kgs in each hand cos I'd bought some new small plates to help improve my pinch. Becaust they were in carrier bags, and I couldn't use the handles, it was like doing a towel, or rope, handled farmers. Grip is fried, which doesn't bode well for the afternoon's KTA, so I'll probably not do it until this evening.

Done the KTA for today, I think I'll start splitting it into 2 workouts from now on, as is suggested.
Walked again this afternoon, probably done about 10 miles today.

KTA is really beginning to sting!
I got a solid 11Kg 2" vbar, and a 16Kg(unloaded) shot-loadable kettlebell today (postman was NOT AMUSED!) and I haven't got the strength left to try them out!

Just you wait! I'm on week 2 of phase 2 and my hands are f#c%ed. I hear that! Even split into 2 training sessions it's a LOT of work.

I'm currently doing 28 HEAVY crushes a day, PER HAND! It's got to help, hasn't it?
Did full workout first thing this morning, cos I want to give the 2" vbar a go tonight.
