I saw that one of the British grip comps ages ago used a "2-handed dynamometer " for the crushing event.
Does anyone remember if this was well received and popular?
My local gym said I can run a grip comp on their premises but he would prefer something 'inclusive' that his regulars could train for easily.
I have a concern that casual lifters will not take part as grippers put them off. I thought a dynamometer might be a decent event and not scare off potential entrants.
Any opinions or experience with this?
In fact, any suggestions/experience regarding a grip comp based primarily around regular stuff you find in the gym.

James, It was with an old dynamometer I have. I think it was received ok.
There are many events you can do with stuff that is in a normal gym, and with something like the Slipper Eel it can be used at basically very little cost.
