When people talk about tendon and ligament training as opposed to muscle training, what do they mean? I read in Mastery of Hand Strength about tendon and ligaments being important to train, but what exercises focus on them as opposed to muscles? I didn't know that you could train like that.
Basically, what is the difference, if any, between exercises for ligaments and tendons, and exercises for muscles?
Examples would be nice!
Thanks for the advice if there is any.

As far as I can tell, none. But your hands tend to recover faster than anywhere else, which people put down to tendons.

Ligaments are attached over a joint from bone to bone to basically keep the bones in the same place.
Tendons are on the ends of muscles and attach the muscle to the bone.
Heavier training usually trains the tendons, and take time. If you're a beginner train in your strength zone to start with.

Hands can recover quicker than other areas, and I believe it's down to the fact that the hands are used to a lot of workload, daily, and through most of your life.
