I've been using Eagle Loops for a few months now, mainly for pullups. Anyone else used them? Anyone managed pinkie pullups yet!

Hi there - just joined!
I have used Eagle Loops for years now, for overloading after heavy singles on deadlift - and they are fantastic - because they allow your hands to be further away from the bar you can obviously lift more, so I am tending to lift usually 25 or even 30 kg more with the loops than my top deadlift - which varies around 5 plates aside Oly at the moment - AND the great thing is that there is carry over - I just got a Blob (49lb) from Mark Robinson in Durham - fantastic guy - a few days ago and was able to upright row it first time from the floor with 2 times 0.5 PDA magnetic disks on the ends (also from Mark!)- and then managed to do 6 times clean and press with the thing. So - it helps the carry over to the pinch (a point -Eagles seem t help with this even if you are deadlifting with straps held in 2nd joint rather than last joints (ie fingertips) if you know what I mean! I think the heavier weight in this style helps a lot as it threatens to pull the weight out of the hands, thereby you get an indirect benefit for the pinch.
I also use them for chins - they are fantastic -try all variations - one or two fingers is great - first and little fingers work well two - and if working in commercial gyms - you always get some odd looks -but who cares about that!
