Our friends across the water seem set on changing as much as possible this week. They started off real well - intentions of following the BHSA model we have set in motion here. With a couple of our German buddies chiming in with support it seemed to be heading in the right direction.
The same names as usual were cropping up: Jedd and Smitty, Eric and Bob plus one or two others. But unless I missed it they seemed to go off at a tangent and decide on whether or not the V-Bar needs recreating - suggestions of a middle ground 1.5" bar, added Scott Georges more or less identical copies of the Euro pinch (I kinda agree with this but would still like a side by side comparison) and so on.
If I said how simple it was and has been for David and myself to sort stuff out by comparison to what I have seen this week it could surprise ya. I told the guys a few days ago all they need to do is:
1) set a name
2) buy a domain
3) invite members to join
4) take the fees.
They already have some rules and can easily copy ours. The one and only decision they really needed to make is one they did - settling on the previously named GGC as their new Nationals.
That's pretty much it in a nutshell and all they need to do. But my betting is on a few more days debate just yet.
