Prior to this date each promoter and organizer of every grip competition has used the entry fees, sponsors help or paid from their own pocket for trophies, medals and the like. With help from BHSA member James Grahame and a very generous donation together with BHSA membership funds it is our intention to purchase a beautiful 15-inch solid silver salver. The salver will be presented to the winner of each years BHSA championships. The plate will have engraved upon it the names of ALL the former winners of British Grip Championships as well as those winners of the years to come. We're currently discussing design options etc with an award maker but to whet the appetite here's the salver pre inscription. We hope, as has been the case so far, that this is yet another step for other fledgling hand strength associations across the world to follow. Like similar awards presented to winners of the FA Cup, Wimbledon and so on being presented the award and having ones name upon it will be seen as something to aspire to. David Horne and I would, on behalf of all current and future BHSA members like to offer publicly our thanks to James for his kind and generous support of the association. Show James his money was not wasted by renewing today and getting your names down to compete![/center]
