I've seriously trained pinch for the first time recently (contrary to KTA's instructions) and i've noticed I've got a pain on the outside of both elbows, on the forearm side. Has anyone else had this? Is it anything to be concerned about?

Similar to yourself, I've been getting pain on the outside of right elbow which has caused me a few problems.
For instance on Wednesday I picked up a small bag containing groceries in a pinch grip fashion then in a reverse curl fashion placed it on the table, there was a sharp pain and burning sensation in the elbow and at top of forearm afterwhich I could hardly bend my arm. There was no bruising to the area to suspect I may have tore the muscle.
Has eased off somewhat, training tomorrow so will see if any further problems then.
Maybe David or Steve have had similar type problems during their grip careers and can offer any advice on avoiding/treating them.

Al, Your's certainly sounds like a bit of Tennis Elbow. Are you doing any Reverse Curls, heavy cheat curls or cleans?
Anyway, some ibuprofen, ice (3 times a day), and maybe some massage will sort it.
Check on google about the above.
Twig, Your's may be getting inflamed by the gripper squeezing. Do you get it whilst doing this?
Same remedy as above.

Have been doing Oly bar Cleans and 2" Axle cleans, but as I said earlier, the motion in which I lifted the groceries caused particular pain to the area.
Have been taking ibuprofen and also icing it with a gel pack(kept in freezer) wrapped in dish towel.
Pain has eased, so, will see if causes any further problems when training today.

Nope, only whilst pinching. I'm resting it and treating with ice, if it hasn't got better in a few days, I'll go see the Doc.

I used to get problems in that area for 2 reasons.
1) allowing my arm to rotate once I'd picked up a thick handled dumbbell (similar width to pinch for some)
2) tricep work, some pressing or benching. I wear a elbow sleeve now once I go heavy (right arm only).

That'll be it, then, I've been letting my arm rotate during blob work. I'll have to watch that in future.
